Gen X Accounting, run by Elaine Swart. Email: elaine@genxaccounting.co.za · Phone: 082 352 2262.
Gen X Accounting is a sole proprietorship, so it has no company registration number.
Elaine Swart, the owner, is your privacy contact. Contact her at the email address above about this notice. Formal Information Officer registration has not been confirmed.
The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, the service you are asking about and a message. The form sends your enquiry to Elaine by email and does not save it in a website database. Please do not send financial documents through the form.
Only to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide our services. We do not sell or share your information for marketing.
The website and email are hosted by Domains.co.za. Elaine also archives emails from time to time to OneDrive for Business. Elaine is the only person who normally accesses the enquiry mailbox; Arno may check it very occasionally if Elaine is away. Information may also be shared with SARS or another authority where the law requires it, or where you have asked Elaine to act on your behalf.
Enquiry emails are kept in Elaine’s mailbox, including when an enquiry does not become a client. The practice does not currently have a routine deletion date for these emails; they are retained indefinitely and may be archived to OneDrive for Business. If you ask for information to be deleted, Elaine will consider the request alongside any applicable record-keeping requirements.
You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing Elaine at elaine@genxaccounting.co.za. Deletion requests will be considered alongside any applicable record-keeping requirements. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
